Tried & True Beauty: VIIcode Oxygen Eye Mask

To say that my skin care routine took a back seat once I had kids is a drastic understatement. To be honest, I was never that committed to a routine to begin with. To be even more honest – I was that annoying friend in high school who never washed her face, and for the most part didn’t have the same skin problems as my peers. Since then, I’ve had the occasional hormonal acne and fine lines as much as the next gal, but one thing is for sure – nothing says “Hi, I’m a mom” more than dark circles.

VIIcode eye mask is an 8-hour overnight treatment, which is what sets it apart from other masks. However, if you’re a mom like me with a new baby waking you up all hours of the night, you may feel uncomfortable sleeping with it. So, you can also use them in the daytime for 2-4 hours like I did – just be prepared to get some pretty weird stares from your toddler wondering what the heck mommy has on her face. I also placed mine in the refrigerator which made it feel like a total spa experience. The gel-like material is really soothing to wear, and makes them super easy to apply. It’s recommended to use them at least 2-3 times per week, and each box comes with 2-3 weeks’ worth of treatment.

This is after three treatments, and I have to admit – I was pretty amazed by the results. My under-eye circles were noticeably faded and the skin around my eyes was so smooth – almost as smooth as Charlotte’s baby skin.
