On Sunday, I coerced the hubs into a City Target run so that I could check out the new Adam Lippes for Target collection. Naturally I’d done my research and already had my eye out for a few key pieces. I halfway expected the store to be ransacked (see Lilly Pulitzer debacle), but apparently plaid doesn’t give off the same drug-induced psychosis as floral-prints-on-crack do. Lucky for me, there was still a healthy selection and I managed to snag the last size mediums in the two garments I wanted most. Lucky for you, there’s also quite a bit still available online – unless of course you’re feeling up to a dumpster dive (as my loving husband so calls it). Fantastic backdrop for these photos! I didn’t realize Target was doing another designer collaboration until after it launched, and I’m pleased to see pieces are still available online (and that the women’s apparel also comes in plus!). I really like some of the home wares too, especially the plaid dishes. I’m loving these graphic windowpane prints for fall, and even better is that they have all-season appeal.

Thanks so much Liz! I know, this collab flew a little under the radar – but it ended up being my favorite one they’ve done so far! I think they finally got the memo that they needed to start offering sizes that actually represent who shops – like everyone, ha, and that most definitely includes plus size women ?…you’re right, the home wares were super cute, and the doggie stuff too! The window pane top was hands down my favorite, but I’m still considering going back for “round two” now that I’m admiring what everyone else bought! Haha ?
