It never fails y’all – I’ll notice a trend, and all the sudden it’s everywhere I look. The latest trend I spotted was one that’s come back around – the gladiator sandal. This time it’s studded and I’m not mad about it. I first saw my friend Meg. O wearing a knock-off version of the popular Steven Madden sandals – she found hers at Walmart for $12 – now that’s a steal, if you ask me.
This past weekend we decided to look for shoes for the kiddos, and lo and behold mama found some of her own – love it when that happens lol. We ended up stopping in Dillard’s, Nordstrom Rack and Target. I found the Steven Madden pair at Dillard’s and tried them on for size, since I’d heard they run super narrow. Sure enough, they were not comfortable at all. I also found a pair of Birkenstock’s, since Roxy recently confused one of mine for a chew toy, but I didn’t like ’em enough to drop $150. I ended up finding the perfect pair of Rebecca Minkoff metallic studded sandals at Nordstrom Rack for half the price of the Steven Madden ones, and they fit perfectly. I also snagged these $20 MIA slide sandals, a total Birkenstock dupe (apparently Roxy has a thing for this style, and already added some teeth marks to them, whatevs). Just when I thought it was safe to go to Target to “just look” – I ended up finding two pairs of studded sandals and couldn’t pass them up for $25 😉 Shop all four of my fave new sandals below!
