There are few things I love more in life than spending Sundays with my family. It’s the one day of the week I know I can look forward to the hubs being home. He works an erratic schedule most days, but we can always count on at least having Sundays at home together. Our favorite thing to do is sit and eat a big breakfast in our sunny dining room, where Grant loves to serve up his famous blueberry and cinnamon pancakes.
The kiddos also enjoy their favorite Happy Family yogurt – Cha Cha loves the banana and sweet potato, but her new fave flavor is peach and mango. For Garrett, he’s more of a traditionalist and prefers strawberry/banana. I’ve always loved yogurt, but when it came to finding the right one for my kids, I had a hard time deciding on one that was right for their developing bodies. I was so excited to find out that Happy Family yogurt is now available at Walmart, and that it’s made with whole milk yogurt, no added sweeteners, non-GMO, and USDA organic. Plus, it’s mindfully made with probiotics – which we all know I’m a big fan of. What’s even more great, is you can earn $1.00 cash back with this ibotta offer!
After breakfast, we like to sit and rock in the glider on our front patio while Garrett pretends to do some gardening and Charlotte (who just literally started crawling) crawls around the yard trying to sneak leaves into her mouth. I happened to document this past Sunday morning, and I’m so glad I did because these are memories I want to always remember…how we came together as a family to enjoy each other before our hectic schedules and work responsibilities started over again on Monday…how, even though we may have only gotten a solid 4 hours of sleep the night before, we always try our hardest to wake up each day and be present for our kids…and how, as challenging as these early years are, we always want to remember these moments in time when they were little and needed us so much. Because nothing feels better than that.
